Tldr; honest food, honest people. Great place for comfy brunch. Came on a Monday morning, waiter was friendly, lots of parking and seating spaces. Ordered the pancake tacos and lugnut. Tasted great, not too sweet not too salty! It's a great little diner that captures the small town vibe. Love it!

Husband ordered The Lugnut Breakfast which includes sausage & egg on a biscuit covered eith gravy with tater tots. I had a chicken biscuit. We tried the chocolate gravy and biscuit so we could say we did, and man it was awesome! Everything was great and they have the BEST service ever!

Just had a fantastic breakfast at Algood Diner! 🍳🥓 This place is a total vibe with its cool hot-rod theme. 😎 The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious! 😋 They nailed the bacon – perfectly cooked! 👌 My meal could have been a tad hotter, but it was pretty busy, so no biggie. 😉 My wife loved her omelette, and the hash browns were some the best we've had in the area! 🙌 Honestly, the only thing we weren't crazy about was the biscuits and gravy, but their toast is AMAZING (and comes with a generous amount of butter!). 🍞🧈 We'll definitely be back – this place is a winner! 🏆

Love the look of the diner in the 50’s theme. The food was amazing! We would definitely eat here again! Fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, all meat omelet….everything was delicious! Best food of our vacation! Wait staff was very friendly- great family run restaurant!

This diner is a gem! Great food and some of the friendliest and helpful servers you will find! They have a variety of choices. I especially like their breakfast items. The restaurant is filled with nostalgia. You will see dollar bills taped to the ceiling from their efforts to raise money for the less fortunate. Good people, good food, good service, and nice atmosphere. What's not to love?

When traveling, always looking for local, home owned restaurants. Sometimes you find a rock, and sometimes you find a gem. This is a gem. The meat and three from the hot bar was cooked fresh in the kitchen, not heated from a can. We were probably the only non local patrons (the tables were mostly full) but were welcomed with smiles. The decor and atmosphere were from a true diner from the 60s. A good place, good people, good food.
